- Wenn man direkt aus einem der Nachbarländer nach Berlin, Dresden, Nürnberg oder München fährt, braucht man keinerlei Fahrkarte, es reicht der ukrainische Pass/ID oder der ukrainische Aufenthaltsnachweis.
- If you travel directly from one of the neighboring countries to Berlin, Dresden, Nuremberg or Munich, you do not need any ticket, your Ukrainian passport/ID or Ukrainian proof of residence is enough.
- Für alle anderen Städte in Deutschland oder bei unterbrochener Fahrt (z.B. via Berlin nach München) muss man den Pass/ID/Aufenthaltsnachweis auf dem Bahnhof vorzeigen (in Berlin im 1. Untergeschoss für Reisen innerhalb Deutschlands, beim Reisezentrum im 1. Obergeschoss für Reisen in andere Länder) und bekommt ein kostenloses „helpukraine“-Ticket.
- For all other cities in Germany or in case of interrupted travel (e.g. via Berlin to Munich), you have to show your passport/ID/proof of residence at the train station (in Berlin on the 1st basement level for travel within Germany, at the travel center on the 1st upper floor for travel to other countries) and get a free "helpukraine" ticket.
